So what is this, and where is it?
A hint. It is mentioned in one of Seton Gordon's books, and I wanted to find it for a long time. So one year on my way to the outer isles I parked the car, and then tip-toed into a construction site, one of the biggest in the islands at the time. But I was thwarted by chain link fences and masses of building material, and had to retreat in defeat. Two years later I returned to finally find this unique piece of Hebridean history.
